Interests

I enjoy reading Webtoons and manga, working out at the gym, playing pickleball, and exploring new restaurants. I enjoy going to the gym and playing pickleball the most. I indulge in a lot of fitness content on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram to try to learn the best and optimal exercises for muscle hypertrophy and strength. I then share my knowledge with my gym buddies and inform them of good and bad exercises to program into their routine. I have coached about 5 people in the last 2 years. Likewise for pickleball, it has been my new favorite pastime hobby. Contrary to all the rumors, it is not a sport just unathletic and old people. It is an easy sport that anyone can pick up and get good at within one week! It is America's fastest growing sport for a reason! I have introduced pickleball to my friends, and we would play, on average, 3 hours a day for 3-4 times a week. I have picked up an interest in teaching and coaching others in pickleball. Thus, I sometimes volunteer at the Grand Rapids Pickleball Club to assist the instructor in teaching new players learn the sport in their intro to pickleball event.

My life goal is to be able to make programming accessible to everyone. More specifically, my dream is to bring college level education in computer science to everyone. While there are great free resources online to learn and practice coding, such as and {{ resource.name }} . While these are great resources that many experienced programmers would recommend, they lack the structure and orgnaization of starting from the basics and working up to data structures and algorithms, as taught in most universities for their introduction to computer science course series. Thus, I have an ambitious goal of creating a self-paced curriculum that will supplement the resources listed above with project development milestone progress checks.
